Dogs are most welcome at the Games as long as they are on a leash and do not cause any incidents. There is even an event for Best Dressed dog.

The recommendation is to bring your own as there is very little seating available. There are no grandstands.

Clan stalls, merchandise stalls, food, and coffee stalls, AHG merchandise, Scottish products.

With light rain or showers the event will no doubt keep going. In the case of excessive rain or flooding the event will be cancelled.

There is plenty of parking within an easy walk of the Games site. There is close to entrance Disability Parking for those with a special permit.

The event starts 0900 hrs. It is recommended that you be there by at least 0830 hrs. to allow time to park, get through the gate and to find a spot to watch the opening.

A reminder that early mornings on Jefferson Park can be very cold and it is recommended that suitable clothing we worn. The days are normally quite good but allow for changes to weather.

Tickets can be purchased on the day either through the web site as above or by Wi-Fi on the ground. THERE WILL BE NO CASH SALES AT THE GATE.

There is a wide variety of food stalls that will cover food and other refreshments.
